AP3500/AP4700 - Resetting AP to Factory Defaults

Bootrom

Use the following process to reset the configuration on an Altitude AP3500/AP4700 unit.

1. Boot the AP connected to serial port
• null modem cable
• 19200, N, 8, 1, no parity, no flow control
2. Press the escape key after the AP boots up and the following prompt appears:
   Press escape key to run boot firmware ..... 
3. Enter the reset config command at the boot prompt
   boot>  reset config
4. Enter the reboot command to reboot the AP
